Development Engineer

WernerCo Hungary Ltd.  Since 2018, it has been an American privately owned company that is a global manufacturer and distributor of storage systems, fall (fall) protection, and lightweight construction equipment (ladders and custom racking systems). Our parent company is growing dynamically every year, and in recent years, with the expansion of WernerCo in Europe, Zarges Kft. has also become part of this large global company.

Our two sites in Kecskemét have been employing our colleagues in a family atmosphere for more than 20 years now, where we produce special ladders and scaffolding by machining aluminum, which are made for professional and domestic use, but we can also serve individual customer needs.

R&D mainly deals with the development and maintenance of new products. Provides support to the various departments and keeps the technical database up to date.

• Design of special customer orders with Inventor software
• Creating the production documentations of special customer orders
• Participating in local- and international projects
• Modification and maintenance of serial product drawings and documenting it
• Modification and maintenance of serial product bill of materials
• Production support
• Use of SAP enterprise resource planning system
• Check or create sales calculations
• Cooperation with co-departments
• Development and documentation of work processes
• Creating and handling reports
• New product development
• New unique product developments (PK2, KDE)
• Quality level improvement
• Searching for innovative solution
• Support the production (and other departments)
• Support to create cost calculation

• Minimum qualification required:
  • BSC or University, but a technician qualification is sufficient
• Knowledge / experience required beyond minimum qualification:
  
  • Microsoft Office
